PRE AND POST NATAL MASSAGE SERVICES

Pea in the Pod Massage: 60 minutes - $75.00
It can be difficult for a pregnant woman to get a good massage at a typical salon. Therapists who are not specifically trained in prenatal massage should be very conservative and only apply light touch. 

Our Ohio Medical Board licensed massage therapists are trained in a combination of special massage techniques for pregnant women. They are knowledgeable and confident in what is appropriate for the pregnant body. They will be able to give you a safe massage that still feels every bit as thorough and wonderful. Because you and your baby are worth it, we only use all-natural organic massage crème. We consider your safety a top priority, and as tempting as pregnancy cushions sound, lying on your stomach is not a safe option for your baby.

Instead, relax on our warm memory foam massage table prepared just for you. The table is adjustable and you will settle into a comfortable reclined position to start the massage, and then transition into side lying for the therapist to massage your back. The massage is concluded with gentle stroking on your belly and an application of all-natural stretch mark prevention cream. In late pregnancy many babies really respond to the belly massage!

At Bright Beginnings, your massage is customized to your preferences. Many women are sensitive to smells during pregnancy, others like our option of luxurious scents that can be custom blended into the organic crème. Some mothers love to have their belly rubbed and decide with their therapist to lavish plenty of time there. Others prefer not to have it touched at all. It’s your time and it’s all up to you. Bright Beginnings also never charges you for add-ons. The stretch mark prevention belly rub and our signature moisturizing heated foot treatment is always included free in your massage session.

Ultimate Pea in the Pod Massage: 90 minutes - $105.00
The worst part about any massage is that it has to come to an end. Delay the inevitable, just a while longer with this version of our Pea in the Pod pregnancy massage extended for an additional 30 minutes.

Do Not Disturb Escape: 30 minutes - $30.00
At the end of a massage, clients often say, “I wish I could just stay here and take a nap.” While you are always encouraged to take your time and sit up slow before you get off the massage table, we’ve heard your cries. If you’d really love to hold onto that ethereal state of relaxation, buy yourself a little time before you come back to reality. Stay on the table and soak it all up in our massage suite with soft music and candlelight. **Please reserve your escape at the time of booking your appointment so the suite will be available to you exclusively.

Bounce Back Massage: 60 minutes - $75.00
Reclaim your body! Pregnancy is over and you have a new role as mom (or mom to one more!). Emotionally, taking time out to be nurtured gives you a break from all the nurturing you’ve been doing, and can help ease post-partum blues. Physically, nature sets about undoing in eight weeks what it took nine months to create. Massage will help the body return to its pre-pregnancy alignment. Whether you need to lift your growing infant, get back to jogging, or prep for commuting back to the workplace, life and parenting are made easier by a healthy body. You can bounce back to a life of energy, good health, and physical fitness. 

GENERAL MASSAGE SERVICES

Bright Beginnings is a family place. You are encouraged to bring along whoever you want to share in your ultrasound experiences. Likewise, if you’d like to have a massage and aren’t ready to leave your new baby, or don’t have a sitter for your child, don’t let that stop you. We know how hard it can be to get time away and your children are always welcome to come along with you. They can color or watch a Disney movie on our mini player with headphones, right in the room with you. Babies tend to sleep, or lay on the table with Mom.

Massage has a long list of health benefits for nearly everyone and we provide services for the whole family. We even provide hard-to-find pediatric massage! Our kids love to get massage, and the Touch Research Institute has proven that massage therapy benefits many pediatric conditions. See their fascinating findings here http://www6.miami.edu/touch-research/research.htm#MTS. We require parental consent and supervision for minors; parents may choose to have side-by-side massage with their child for a unique bonding experience!

Our deep tissue therapy is awesome for athletic moms and dads. It is perfect for those who like more pressure. Getting you back in top condition so you can enjoy your life!

COUPLES MASSAGE SERVICES

We Can’t Wait Massage: 60 minutes - $150
Retreat into our relaxation suite together for an hour of shared bliss in candlelight before the new addition arrives. Two massage therapists will be at your call for an hour of pea in the pod massage for her and choice of Swedish or deep tissue therapy for him. 

I’ll Be There Massage: 60 minutes - $150
The glowing mom to be and someone special share an hour of side-by-side massage. This can be a great gift for moms to give to their birthing support partner to show their appreciation and share some quality time. Or, steal some time away with your mom, daughter, best friend or pregnant pal. The point is to nurture the relationships that you have now and remind the special people in your changing life how important they still are. We are happy to accommodate minors with parental consent!

Time Out for Mom & Dad Massage: 60 minutes - $150
Perfect for a date night after your bundle of joy has finally arrived. You’ll each receive your choice of Swedish or Deep Tissue massage. Spend time reconnecting so you can be a team. Give yourself time away so you have a chance to miss the baby, and allow the massage to recharge you so can go home a better Mom and Dad.
